Plan Description

Sided in horizontal wood with a large stone fireplace, this country retreat is the image of a rustic hideaway. A recessed entry with clerestory illumination opens to a central hall with bedrooms flanking it. A few steps down, the living areas are positioned to take advantage of outdoor views and the long deck with sunken spa that wraps two sides of the design. The living room, dining room and kitchen enjoy vaulted ceilings. A greenhouse just beyond the kitchen can serve as a breakfast room, if desired. Two family bedrooms share the use of a skylit bath and also have box-bay windows. The owners suite has double box-bays, a walk-in closet, a vaulted ceiling and a private sun deck.

Everything, including the text, is backward in relation to the original design. These kinds of drawing are typically used to reorient an original plan more advantageously on a site, either because the homeowner prefers it that way or because of limitations of the site itself. Note: Mirror reverse sets are only available with a 5 copy or 8 copy set. With a Reproducible, PDF, or CAD set, you can print mirrored copies locally.
